⦁ The lights respond to motion detectors. So you don't even have to use the light switches for certain light operation. E.g.: - when you get up in the middle of the night for a drink of water. Having lights 'just' turn on softly (like a night light) to guide you to the kitchen for that drink.
⦁ The lights work differently when the house is in different modes. For example, when in "Movie Mode" the lights turn on at a softer level to not disturb the movie. Or "Party mode" where the light switches are disabled so guests can't 'accidentally turn off lights'.
